We have snow here... - first time I remember there being snow since about 1982 or 83....

So instead of the icecream maker bowl I have lots of stewing meat and one pot meals in the freezer still wink

ann, olivia and i love making ice cream in summer, which one are you planning to do? i could give you one of my fav: Dulce de Leche ice cream! yumyum! i think you know it as caramel, or something like that? let me know...

In the US Dulce de Leche is sold as caramel dip for apples.

I make it by simmering condensed milk in the cans.

What do you do to turn it into ice cream?

Susanne, snow aye?!!  You really do get our weather a couple of days after us don't you?  we had snow on Easter Sunday think that was the 24th?

We do. Usually when you got crappy weather I do know it will be the same here a day later. There was snow on the ground here on Sunday morning (23rd), but it snowed on and off from Saturday till I think Tuesday. It did not stay long though - it was just around 0°, so it thawed within hours if it had stayed at all.

Today was lovely though wink

Last week I finally made home-made ice cream!  It was raspberry and turned out delicious.  I tried to make vanilla right after but the bowl wasn't cold enough and I had to give up!  sad  The raspberry was about gorgeous!
